I’ve never quite liked Charu Sharma’s moderation. A little too smug for his own good on television. But he’s refreshing to have around when idiocy is starring on television. But it’s already so exciting. Sid Monga of Cricinfo records IS Bindra gushing, “It’s my privilege to be associated with something that is unique in world cricket. I have never seen anything so riveting and so absorbing and so exciting even on the field. It’s amazing drama.”
I know where he’s coming from.

Here’s an old series by Jeffrey Goldberg in the New Yorker, in which he describes Hezbollah’s plans. Writings about events date quickly, but this mag is something else.
The first part:
Like the rest of the town, the park was crowded with ferocious Hezbollah art. One poster showed an American flag whose field of stars had been [...]

The effort Dhoni puts into his shots is more apparent when Rohit Sharma bats with him. Sharma slinks around the crease while Dhoni gets his feet out of the way. Sharma skips down the wicket, and Dhoni charges. And good lord, their cover drives. Dhoni hurls himself into that shot so hard that he leaves his skin behind.
