Had this thought recently. With IPL, there will be three levels of advertisers and sponsors: national, personal, and now this league. Already conflicts exist, that we know. But here’s something interesting. Apparently Nike is unhappy with their BCCI deal because a few high-level players “don’t have the time” for photoshoots. One player, when asked by the board to attend a photoshoot, apparently said, “I’d love to, but where’s the time? Why don’t you drop me for a game so that I can fit it in my schedule?”
So what happens now that the IPL is around?
